It’s recommended to use fresh, quality Entrecote beef,
but you can also use a pack of steaks, just make sure they’re not processed and are 100% beef!
Cooking time: 10-15 minutes
Yield: 6 servings
- 700g Steak strips or 1 pack Steaks
- 4 Large onions, halved and julienned
- 2-3 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt, pepper
- 1 tsp Moroccan paprika in oil
Select the FRY setting on the EasyCook and close the lid. Add the onions and fry, occasionally stirring, for 5 minutes until they’re golden. Remove the onions from the pot and set aside.
Slice the beef into strips that are 1 cm thick. Close the lid for 2 minutes to heat the pot up, and add ½ the amount of the beef strips.
Season with salt and pepper and fry 3-4 minutes, until brown on one side, then flip using a fork and brown the other side the same way.
Remove the cooked steak from the pot and set aside with the fried onions. Cook the rest of the steaks in the same way, add everything that was set aside back in the pot with the paprika (and the liquids from the meat and onions) and fry everything together for about a minute. Serve immediately.
By the way, the EasyCook has a heat preservation function that starts automatically after the cooking process is over. To finish and turn off the function, press and hold the "Warm/Cancel" button. The cooker will display all the programs, and the heating process will be over.
