Cooking an Apple Crumble with EasyCook
- 3 Peeled apples
- Petit-Beurre biscuit crumbs
- ½ Tsp Cinnamon
- 2.5 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cap Vanilla extract
For the Crumble:
- 100g Butter
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 1 - 1½ cup Flour
Instructions using the EasyCook multi-cooker:
Making the mixture:
Peel, dice and transfer the apples into a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir so the apple cubes absorb the flavours.
Making the Crumble:
Stir the sugar and the butter in a bowl for an even mixture.
Add the flour and mix to get crumbs - it’s important not to stir for too long to avoid getting dough instead of crumbs. In the case of over-mixing , just add more flour.
Add the crumbs to the apple mixture and mix well.
Place the mixture in the EasyCook multi-cooker and set it to the “Cake” setting for 40 minutes.
Once the cake is ready, take it carefully out of the pot and flip it upside down onto a plate. Let it chill for a bit, cut out circles with a ring cutter (or cut it to squares), add a scoop of ice cream and powdered sugar on top and enjoy…
By the way, the multi-cooker has a heat preservation function that starts automatically after the cooking process is over. To finish, press and hold the "Cancel" button.
