 Steamed Doughnuts

Ingredients:
5 cups Flour | 1.5 Tbsp Yeast | 12 cups Powdered Sugar | 1 cup Milk | 2 Eggs | 80g Butter | Rum Extract

We begin:
Pour the flour into the mixing bowl along with the yeast. Create a pit in the flour and add the rest of the ingredients, and mix until the flour is absorbed and formed into dough.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead until it’s smooth and soft to the touch.
Form a ball from the dough, place it in a bowl and cover the bowl in plastic wrap, and leave it to set and rise to double its size (it is recommended to set it in the refrigerator overnight).
After the dough has risen, flatten it out on a floured surface to a thickness of about 2 centimeters, and cut out circles using a ring cutter or a glass. Place the circles on parchment paper in a baking tray spaced out from one another, and let it rise again.
Fill the pot of the EasyCook cooker with water and set it up to the “Steam” setting.
When the water has boiled, place the doughnuts in the steamer for 10 minutes.

The result is very light, airy and soft doughnuts.

It’s time for the fun part - The filling!
Go wild, jelly, chocolate, halva, creme patissiere, almond spread, tahini.. 
The most important thing is that it’s delicious!
