Cholent with colorful beans and beef using the EasyCook multi-cooker
- 1 cup Chickpeas, soaked for a night in boiling water
- ¾ cup Colorful bean mix, soaked for a night in boiling water
- 6 Small potatoes
- Beef cubes (ribs, breast)
- 3-4 Garlic cloves
- 1 Onion
- 1 Sweet potato, sliced to chunks
Sear the beef cubes on all sides on the “Fry” setting, 160*c for 5 min.
Add the rest of the ingredients, cover with water and season: salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, a bit of soup powder, dried parsley, and a tbsp of date honey.
Add 6 eggs on top of everything.
Cook on 150*c to boil and lower to 100*c for 8 hrs.
I added a cooking bag with rice into the pot.
1 cup rice, 2 cups boiling water and some salt and oil.
Incredibly delicious, my family licked their fingers after eating!
By the way, the Easy Cook has a heat preservation function that starts automatically after the cooking process is over. To finish and turn off the function, press and hold the "Warm/Cancel" button. The cooker will display all the programs, and the heating process will be over.
