 Bukharian Cholent - Oshesvo - Osnat Mizrahi

Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 Carrot, diced
  • 1 Sweet potato, diced
  • Shoulder meat
  • 1 cup White beans, soaked
  • 1 cup Chickpeas, soaked
  • 1½ cup Rice and tendons
  • Salt, pepper
  • Eggs
  • Potatoes
 
Preparation:
On the EasyCook FRY setting, fry onions with the oil , carrots, sweet potatoes, meat, white beans, chickpeas, rice with tendons, and fill the pot up with water to resemble a soup. 
Change the setting to STEW and cook for 8 hours after seasoning with salt and pepper, add eggs and potatoes and leave it on Shabbat (het preservation) mode when the cooking ends.

By the way, the EasyCook has a heat preservation function that starts automatically after the cooking process is over. To finish and turn off the function, press and hold the "Warm/Cancel" button. The cooker will display all the programs, and the heating process will be over.
